Progress to date

Since I have enrolled and started working on this course, I have explored a number of different tools available on the web for which I can use to establish my professional presence on the internet.

Although I originally intended to use my First Class website, it seems that the Google Sites was a better choice as it is more user friendly and I can do more things with the site.  You can check out my website at https://sites.google.com/site/catherineypoole1/

I have also began working on the major project for this course in which I will explore the use of iPads in classrooms.  Over the weekend I purchased an iPad to use for this purpose and am eager now to explore the different apps which can be used in the classroom with students.

Welcome to my eJournal for EDUC 5203!  This is my first time ever using a blog or any other technology of this sort.  I am very much looking forward to completing this course and beginning to learn how to use various technologies in my teaching practices.
